Wes Humphrey
I am a native Austinite who has been raised, educated, and enriched by central Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University (Business/Psychology) and met my beloved wife while working at Chuy’s just after high school. I spent over 20 years in various areas of health care administration and leadership in the behavioral health industry before becoming a professional real estate agent in 2013 to join an experienced and talented broker (my wife Lori) launch Goodness Realty in 2015.
I have an established track record in many areas of expertise and comprehensive skills from my prior career that have transferred valuable experience for my clients. These skills and knowledge have integrated well into my real estate education and training. I’m committed to ongoing continuing education & training that is well above the minimal licensing requirements for Texas agents. I remain informed with local housing market conditions and helps navigate clients through the ins and outs of various real estate transactions to ensure clients are represented with knowledge, integrity, and strong communication & negotiation skills in order to protect one of the most critical financial and emotional investments that individuals and families will experience.
I’m a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE®) which was earned from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. Agents who receive this certification are among some of the top agents in the country in negotiation skills, which according to the National Association of Realtors, is one of the top skill sets expected by clients when deciding on a real estate agent. I’ve also earned my Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by going the extra mile to receive specialized training in delivering the best practices in buyer-representation services and competencies. As an established ABR®, clients can rest assure that they are working with a qualified agent from start to finish in the buying and leasing process.
I’m an active REALTOR® and member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and Austin Board of Realtors. I volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and remained involved in my professional associations. I’m a grateful husband, proud father of a teenage daughter and companion to a rescued chocolate dachshund named Bear. If I’m not currently going above and beyond for you in real estate, there is a chance I might be with my family having fun, enjoying all that central Texas has to offer, grubbing down a healthy meal, surfing Lake Travis or the local surf park, paddle boarding, reading, serving others, or just trying to enjoying the moment one day at a time.
I look forward to working with you!
